Republican Brandon Martin Tops $100k, Outperforms GOP Field in Contributions With 100% of Campaign Funded by Grassroots Donations
Q1 Fundraising Success Builds Off Martin's Winning Ballot Petition Tally Which Topped Incumbent Rep. Kirkpatrick By 1,000 Signatures
SIERRA VISTA, AZ – April 20, 2020
Republican Brandon Martin's campaign for US House (AZ-2) continued to build fundraising momentum in the first quarter of 2020, raising $98,369.29 to this point through over 200 individual donations, the most money raised organically by any campaign, without a candidate loaning their campaign committee money, and the most unique donors of any campaign. Mr. Martin's campaign passed $100,000 total raised shortly after the filing window.
In response to the Q1 fundraising success, Brandon Martin issued the following statement: "Thank you to our supporters! Not only did our campaign secure the most signatures, the most individual donors, and most grassroots money raised, our campaign also has the strongest support. We are going to defeat Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick in November and provide citizens with the full representation they deserve."
With district-wide support, Martin's campaign is positioned at the front of the GOP pack with the most endorsements, best organization, and strongest fundraising base. His campaign has only grown stronger since his US House run for AZ-2 in 2018 where he won Cochise County and finished 2nd in Pima County with over 14,000 votes - netting 19,809 votes total.
